Ruffly was founded by four healthcare professionals — pet parents from pharmacy, medicine, and health technology — who believe your pet deserves the same standard of care we’ve spent our careers giving people.
We’ve spent our working lives in healthcare — behind pharmacy counters, in clinics, and building the technology that connects them. Serving patients isn’t a slogan to us; it’s a mandate we’ve carried our entire careers. And like millions of you, we’re pet parents. The dogs and cats at our feet are family.
So when we looked at how pet medication actually reaches the people who need it, we saw it with two sets of eyes at once: the pet parent’s — and the clinician’s.
Human pharmacy has spent two decades getting better — clearer prices, home delivery, a pharmacist a message away. Veterinary pharmacy hasn’t kept pace. Prices swing wildly from counter to counter and are nearly impossible to compare. Ordering is clunky. Somewhere in the middle of it all, somebody still asks for a fax.
We know what good pharmacy looks like, because delivering it has been our job. Pet parents weren’t getting it — one of us once learned we were routinely paying a 350% markup on our own dog’s chronic medication, simply because there was no better option and we trusted that clinics were reasonably priced. That gap between the care pets deserve and the system that serves them is why Ruffly exists.

We connect you to licensed pharmacy partners, show you the live price before you commit to anything, and a licensed pharmacist reviews every order against your vet’s prescription before it ships. Brand or generic — your call, with the numbers in front of you.
The prescription takes one step to upload — or we’ll coordinate with your vet directly, because chasing paperwork should never stand between a pet and their medication.
